Dallas/Fort Worth Dyno Challenge

Anybody figured out a start-up time for this shindig?

Yes it starts at 9. 00am. So don't be late. The guy that owns the shop said he would like to have everybody there early so he could get all of us taken care of so he could start back tuning the gassers that he has there. So please be early as you can.

Fun does not even begin to describe the atmosphere surrounding this Diesel Challenge. Their are already quite a few people doing some trash talking and its looking to be a blast to wath it all go down. We have Chevy boys, Ford boys, and of course the Dodge boys and everybody claims to have the baddest.



Now we want ANY diesel power vehicle to show up. From stock to rocketship we want it all.



Even if all you want to do is talk about and watch diesels then come on.

I think Dan Rice will be there testing his new CON FE and other goodies!!! I will be there, and I am also trying to talk greg into dynoing his truck as well... He in turn is trying to talk me into running his stage 3 injectors for the dyno, but I want real #'s. . I may try a run in 5th rather than 6th to see what #'s I can generate there... .

So make a run in 6th, one in 5th, and then throw them in, and make one in 6th.

Seriously, I had planned on it but work always comes first, if it were closer I might be able to swing it but it's too far if I get a last minute call. New turbo's,, gained 3 PSI, and lost 100*EGT.



Mike,, You are correct. Headwork is next,, I've done exceeded the current head's capabilities. Haisley's, ARP, and Piers will do the job. J. R. Adkins is providing the boost.



Hopefully the Trophies will be ready, a few unseen setbacks have made me not knowiong if the trophies will be done in time.



I plan to be at Texas Diesel Works Wednesday.

I just thought of a trophy you need to bring "worst luck" then I might have a chance of getting one.



don't know if I'm gonna make it have been working 14 hours a day on the truck all the goodies are on but now the truck won't start I'm clueless. plan on making 2-3 trips back from school to work on it this week. then I have to have time to fine tune all the goodies. so I will keep you all updated on teh process. :{

What kind of turnout is expected? I have noticed scheduling conflicts for a few people on this forum as well as others. If the turnout looks good, I have a couple of people that want to drive down from west Texas to hang out and watch. Will this just be a dyno day or is a show and shine event also planned?

It's suppose to be a dyno event and if can get enough interest we plan on going out to the track for a little racing action.

As far as guys that have flat out said they're going to dyno. We have numbers in the high 30's. With a ton more saying they're coming for the festivities and may dyno as well.
