Well I think I'm going to have to make the trip too. Won't be able to make it for 9 cause I have to be in Marshall till about 11. Will probably meet ya'll out there around 2:30ish. Hopefully everyone will still be making pulls at the shop, but if no tthen I guess I'll have to try to find the track. And it's looking like I will be spending the night in the cab of my truck again too. Ah sometimes I enjoy being snigle.

Rebel,

I'm going to say that I think we will be there all day. If not, give Wes, or I a call. Not that I know what's going on, but I can pass my phone to Wes :D

10-4 Merrick. I'll know for sure what time I'm headed out there Saturday morning. I'm anticipating leaving around 11 out of Marshall. Will talk to ya'll then.

Saw the weather forcast this morning for Saturday. High of 66 with rain. Lets hope it holds out for the weekend. Weather like today would be nice (maybe a little cooler).

Weather and the Players

Folks the weather for Sat. is not looking too bad. The rain isn't supposed to show up till Sat. afternoon-evening.

Now for the main reason for this post. I received a call yesterday from David Lott of Diesel Innovations and he plans to attend and dyno. And he may even bring his friend from down south that has a pretty substantial little ride as well.

This adds two more Non-Dodge contenders to the pile and they ought to be good running trucks too.

We have a few GMs lined up as welll as we sent a letter out to 44 GM guys and are awaiting the response. So we should see a good representation for the GM camp as well.

On a side note we will have some toys on hand to try out maybe a tuner for the Dodges, an Edge Evolution for the Fords, and a Quadzilla 215hp Stealth Box for the GMs.

I hope everyone that can attend will make it . I can guarantee that we'll have a blast.

Gotta get smoe work done.

Hey guys.

I'm here at Mark's shop, Texas Diesel Works. We got the head off Stack'd-n-Jack'd last night, and have run into a few problems. But it still looks like the fire rings are a go  . The previous O-Ringed Block was holding, but, it was weeeping coolant and some compression, which resulted in the head needing to be decked . 010, which we will do in about 30 minutes.

Mark and I will be attending with near identical trucks, main difference being 5-speed vs. Auto.

Besides that, I think it will be a hot competition. Both trucks running big twin turbos, Laser Cut DV's, EDM's, and heavily worked injection pumps. All from different sources, and different thinking behind them.

Mark made ~400RWHP with this truck on the dyno at May Madness, i've driven with him on the street, and it's faster than 400RWHP.

I have now revised my guestimated HP number down to about 400-450. Reason being... I don't know if I can get the boost up on the dyno, which will lead to a lower HP number.

Mark said he was expecting a ~600 number. If any of yall rode with him in his ~450RWHP 24V at the dyno day in Lewisville,,, this truck feels alot faster, but, he might run into the same problem as me, not spooling turbos. I dont think he will as those B turbos (B-1, B-2) spool,,, "quickly" ;)

BTW, Wes, Give me a call, I can't reach you on your cell phone, and I need to ship the trophies to the dyno shop. I would like to talk to the dyno shop also.

Change of plans

Well guys I got a last minute change of plans... not going to be able to make it to the D/FW dyno day. Got to go home to see the family and take care of a little buisness. Hope all of yall have fun and put up some monster numbers. If it happens again soon, maybe this summer I will be there.

Well, Greg and I are on our way to the BIG "D"! If y'all need to contact us, reach us at 210-387-4475... See Y'all there!

I had a great time.

The shop started off slow, and I was dissapionted with some stuff they did, but overall we got 30+ trucks on the dyno from 9am to I think 10-11pm, a testament to their hard work.

Made some new friends, cuaght up with some old friends, and met ALOT of nice peeple (except that charlan guy, NAW, just jokin' buddy).

Highest number was Quad's D-Max with a crazy 600+/1100+.

Don_M came in last minute and layed down 619/~~~ (no tach sensor).

David Lott/Diesel Innovation's laid down 500/1050.

I think that was our 1st/2nd/3rd place spots. (details to come)

After everybody left, I was able to lay down a somewhat consistent 500HP. I Need to do lots more tuning!

Next year will be much more organized. I hope yall can make it out again.

Thanks for the picture goes to Steve, aka, Silver Bullet from www.dieselplace.com who did 355. 8/632. 7 in a D-Max.
