I have a Bank"s intercooler that has some mild damage from a front impact when I t-boned a Buick who ran a stop sign(Dodge vs 90 Buick Century). I have pressure tested the intercooler and it is fine, but there is some cooling fin damage(and a really big dragon fly in it :) ). Do to the fact that Peter T. at Banks has not come up with an answer as he promised, I would like to see what you all think, repair the fin damage and use it, or buy a new from Banks ? I know that some of you don't like dealing with Banks, but their stuff does work for me, so please lets NOT turn this into a Banks bashing string.

Thanks

Kyle

heck sakes. . use it till it ruptures. . they are tooo expensive to just toss out like bath water IMHO. . as long as there is all the mounting hardware intact. . why not

Any good radiator shop can bring it back to A-1 condition even if it has leaks. If it's just the fins that need straightening out you can buy a fin comb from a auto parts for under $10.
