2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Damaged Seat Belt Options

I just bought a 2001 2500. It has leather seats and everything is perfect on the truck except that the driver side seat belt is fraying (i think thats the word i am looking for). Its ugly to look at and i dont like it. What can i do to fix it? how do you get it out of the seat? Any ideas would be very helpful
