Hi all,
Some of you may remember back a month or two when I got my wrecked but mostly fixed '98 12 valver and found out that someone had swaped in a bent Dana 44 front axle (half ton). Looks like it probably happened before it made it to the auction. Well today I finally got it fixed. I was able to purchase a Dana 60F axle from the guy I originally bought the truck from. I paid $1250 for a '96 axle with 121k on it. He wanted more but came down on the price finally. It is very clean and looks great inside! I just wanted those who saw my last posts on this subject to know that the problem is resolved now.
