Dana 70 spindle nut thread repair

What's the best way to clean up the threads on the end of the axle shaft where the spindle nut goes, Is there a die that big or is the best way with a thread repair file.

These are what we always used on truck and trailer axle threads...a little cheaper for a one time shot. Just need to figure out the the thread pitch needed, each file has 8 different thread pitch offerings so it boils down to one of the first two choices on the attached page...

You can call axel masters and they will come to you and fix the iisue

My Cummins buddy suggested a triangular file, took a while but it worked. Thanks for your replies.
