Just three days beyond the 3 year/ 100 k warrantee period. . I replace the left rear axle hub seal. You've gotta love it!
Anyway. . Here's some help for anyone contemplating it.
The locking nut is a 2 9/16" round corner style, and the socket tool is available from AutoZone for about $14.
The oil seal is Mopar # 5003464AA... this is the real deal, steel lip flanged unit. The parts store specials don't compare. The "AA" part # is the latest design. We'll see.
The wheel lock nut - Mopar # 52069306
Nut lock wedge - Mopar # 4797126
Axle shaft gasket - 4384186
Hope this helps anyone from having to "guess with the counter person" at the dealer.

From what I understand the 2500 autos had a Dana 70 and the 2500 manuals had a Dana 80. The locking nut (spindle nut) is the same size on a Dana 70.
