Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Dana 80 & limited slip

My truck does not have limited slip, what would it cost (or what would you recommend) to convert to limited slip??

ARB air locker... ... . posi when you want it... Off when you don't. Best of both worlds!! By the way... once you have limited slip... the locker won't go in.

No ARB for the Dana 80 in 4.10

The airlocker works well but last time I checked ARB only makes it in a 3. 54 ratio carrier for the Dana 80. I've found the stock Trac-lok works well for most applications if it is properly setup and the friction modifyer is restricted. I trashed my spider gears after a season of intensive sled pulling with a stock Trac-loc but nothing but my Mitchell clutch seems to be bullet proof.



I noticed three Ford Dana 80 4. 10 limited slip, Dana carriers on eBay starting at less then one hundred dollars. The ad said 35 spline axles but I don't know if they would fit or adapt to a Dodge rear or not. HTH's
