Anyone here upgraded a 2nd gen 2500 w/4wd from a Dana 70 to a Dana 80 and converted their transfer case to a NV241DHD, so as to bulletproof the drive train for sustained mountain grade towing?

I towed heavy all over the West for 14 years with my 2001.5 with Dana 70, never had a issue with it or the transfer case.

Never been able to hurt a Dana 70 or the smaller transfer case yet

Yes the D70 was in automatic and 80 in stick. Not sure but 3500s might have been 80s regardless of transmission? But then you'd have to get srw stuff
