Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Dana 80 Temp

Anyone checking temperature of the Dana 80 running Mopar synthetic? Running about 260 in the hilly country. Seems a little warm to me.

That's hot! I use Amsoil Series 2000 75W-140 and towing my trailer on a 90 plus day down this way for over 500 miles, the hottest temperature I saw was right around 235 degrees and that was after some steep grades. Normally, I don't see temps over 215 degrees. I'm running 7. 5 quarts with the Mag-Hytec. That might be the difference.
