Maybe someone in this forum has an answer for me. Does anyone know if the older Dana five speeds will swap onto a cummins clutch housing? I have a 5652-A dana trans from my 1967 LCF 850 dodge wrecker, and it looked like the industrial bellhousing pattern on the five speed is the same as the pattern that fits the clutch housing on the cummins. I know that this is the industrial 33000GVW trans, and was wondering if they actually did bolt up. I figure someone out there has tried to bolt something like this in and should give me an answer. I know that the clutch housing is 5" wide, and then the bolt on bellhousing is another 5". The trans case is another 23 3/4" long. I guess if anyone out there needs a good trans (for a swap, project, or as a replacement) you can buy it from me as it is on eBay right now.
