Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Dang Lift Pump

Well the fuel psi gage is reading 15 psi on way home from truck pulls in Washington county to night, but on the way down it was at 6psi. I just read the post that Robby Ram posted for me and took down new part # I am going to get one from cummins. The psi is way to jumpy for me one time its @ 5 psi and then the next time it is @ 15 psi going down the road, shut truck off and restart it and get a whole different reading.

I was also wondering if my Isspro gage could be bad because its not a crystal clear as it was when it was new, or like the other Isspro gages I have. If you look close @ the FP gage it almost looks like there is a mist of oil in side the gage, What do you think.

I would try testing the pressures with a mechanical test gauge

My ISSPRO started fluctuating randomly on a recent trip. Pulled the guage from the pod and found a wire barely holding on. Pushed the wire onto the guage all the way and problem solved. Something to check and it is free.
