The rear brakes on my 97 dually 4x4 with 118K miles are starting to grab something terrible. When I start to apply the brakes, the truck jumps up and down so bad that the hood shakes and its hard to control. There's no pulsation in the pedal. I did pull the rear drums of and found that the adjusters were adjusted up very tight. I backed them off, but it only fixed the problem for a few days. I pulled the drums off again to find the adjusters up tight again. They are installed properly and everything else is installed right also. Has anyone else experienced this problem and how did you fix it. please advise!!!!

Also, I'm on my 5th axle joint on the drivers side. I've installed a new tracking arm with the luke's link and a new sway bar with new bushings and also new shocks. But I'm still chewing up the drivers side joint. I'm also on my second set of ball joints.

Any suggestions or advice on these 2 problems would be greatly appreciated.
