Dash Control Module Acting Up

My 06' has had a few sporadic issues with the lights or blinkers not working at times. Today one of my employee's was driving in the rain and the wipers stopped working. Then they came back on and turned off again.



I was near the dealership in my 02' so I stopped in to shake down one of the service reps. He claims that those control modules don't act up sporadically that they simply stop working all together. Has anyone else had sporadic dash board control issues?

My 06 model had some issues awhile back, when you shut the truck down and open the door, the interior lights would only stay on for approx. 10-12 seconds then go off. Even if you left the door open and dialed the switch up to keep the interior lights on, it wouuld only last about 10-12 seconds and go out. I had to take the truck to the dealership several times to get it corrected. The first time, they tried to say it was never programmed right, the second time, the tech. blamed it on the first tech. that worked on it, the third time, I brought in a copy of the TSB (that I found on this web-site) and told them to "TRY THIS!!" The truck has been fine ever since... Not sure if that helps you any, but I've come to realize that some dealerships mean well, but they don't always know what they are doing.
