I hate this black interior! I wish I bought in the summer instead of October now! That big black dash absorbs lots of heat! I was figuring I could find a dash cover to match the a-pillars which are sort of a sandy gray color. Does anyone know that color they call it? If I can cover the dash with something other than black I might be able to cool the truck easier. Are the dashes the same as an '02 1500? Anybody have good suggestions for dash covers?

same here

I went to the dealer to order one and he had a bunch of samples to take out to truck to match the color. I don't have the box anymore and don't remember what the color was called. They do have the covers and you can get a perfect match. :D

Light Taupe

is the color of the A-pillar, fwiw.
I wish I had ordered Taupe instead of Dark Aggate, but the dealer I ordered from ordered all of his trucks with Aggate interiors, so I never got to see Taupe and wouldn't order it for that reason.

If your dash is a light color, it will drive you nuts with the reflections. (I painted my 94's dash a flat black) Lay out a newspaper on your dash and take a drive on a sunny day... .

I like it dark. I'd even like the A pillars dark too. (just looks sort of funky with the dark dash)

... . AND DO NOT ARMOUR-ALL :D

Hmmmm, maybe comando cloth on the whole thing. Got a bunch left over from lining the inside of my TV.....

(BOMBing everthing around here:D )

I agree about the reflection thing but we have pretty hot sun here and the inside of the truck is noticeably warmer than my old Tundra and my wife's vehicle. I hate running the AC all the time but that's what I'm having to do and it's not even really hot yet!
