Is there any fix to the arms and the hinge on the drink holder?? I have searched the junk yards with no results. Dodge wants $$$$ and will not sell parts for it ---- too old ---- my ***

Thanks

Robert

Mine crashed and burned again yesterday with a big cup of ice water in it, thank God it wasn't a coke or lemonade. Over the years "15" I've repaired mine twice and used JB weld to bond the hinge pins back on. Each time the fix lasts about 5 years. Good Luck!

Are you talking about the plastic "pins" that connect the drink holder to the hinged portion? That's happened to mine a couple of times. I finally fixed it by drilling holes where the plastic extensions used to be, then inseting a small steel rod through it. It takes quite a bit of back-and-forth with it to get the rod through both sides, but it can be done. It's been holding for the past three years so far.

i hated the location of the cup holder in my truck (dripping fluid down the radio in my 97). i installed the center console cup holder from geno's garage and love it. they are $39 + Shipping.

We must be talking about different drink holders. On my 2001, it is below the radio.

So is mine and the hinge at the dash and at the center are both broken. I do not have the missing parts to glue back. Bummer. Has any one made the parts themself?? I think that is the only way to go without just getting rid of it all together and puting a CB or something in its place.
