What should I have for a reading at idle and crusing on my oil pressure gauge (factory instrument cluster)?
Should I consider mine accurate?
Should I install a auxiliary gauge?
milage is 375K. runs great, no smoke.
thanks
What truck do you have? Mine on my '95 and now '98 have proven to be fairly accurate. We checked it with a mechanical gauge when we put the engine in the '98.
Mine has just over 500K miles on it and it runs just under 40psi warm at idle and a bit over 60 cruising at 1800rpm.
