Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Dash light issues and speedo problem

My boy came over today and for some unknown reason, the ABS light stays on, the Emergency brake light stays on and the speedometer will drop to zero below 20mph. So far all we did is disconnect the battery for about 20 min. and reconnect. We also change the (might be called) the speed sensor in the rear end with another truck we had and now there is no speedometer reading and shifting is bad in the autotransmission. He just called me to let me know and going to get a new sensor for the rear end. ANY IDEAS, thank for the input ED

Try the new speed sensor in the rear end and report back.

NEW SENSOR AND EVERYTHING IS WORKING good for others to remember if they have a problem thanks for the input. ED
