Hey guys, last night I was pulling out of a parking spot, felt the truck dragging, figured I left the E-Brake on (I did) so I reached down and pulled the release.

When it popped up, I lost all dash lights.

Before I dig into it, I thought I'd get advice on the most obvious to look for (I assume fuses first?)

Thanks!

The lights never came back on? That's a new one on me. Just brainstorming, the brake release lever is immediately below the headlight control panel where the dash light dimmer is located. I'd start there.

Lights never came back on... Dimmer wire is where I spliced my gauges in, so my first thought was that I had a loose wire get caught up in the E-brake pedal, but no.

Didn't get a chance to look at it today, probably get to it tomorrow, will post results.

There is a post about wiring harness damage from the tilt wheel doing damage to the blower motor and AC circuit... . it has melted some dashes... .

Lets assume that the dimmer wires are in the same bundle... as you reach down with your left hand to grab the release lever... you pull down on the wheel with your right hand to steady yourself... . could you have the same problem... but just damaged other wires in the bundle instead of the AC circuit...

I don't know... but someone here with a wiring harness might be able to tell us... .
