Dash Lights

Gettin a little older and would like to make the dash lights a little brighter for night driving. Has anyone replaced the bulbs with a brighter bulb. If so where to get and what to ask for? Thanks

The bulbs in your dash are 194's, the 168's are brighter and use the same socket and are the same size.
BEWARE-extended(6-8 hours straight) use of dash lights with higher wattage bulbs may melt some of the plastic near bulbs.

I have been there (with the melted plastic on a marker light on one of my Toyotas.

I bet cleaning the bulbs and lenses would make a difference - there's gotta be 10 years of dust in there. You could also see if there's room to ad an extra bulb.

I've always hated dim bulbs... (in my Dodge that is)...
