Dash Mount Gauge Pod

Has anyone checked to see how much modification would be needed to the 2nd generation 3 gauge dash mount pod to fit it to the '03 dash.



I was looking at the possibility of mounting the pod ahead of the factory center mounted tweeter but wasn't sure if there is enough material at the bottom of the pod to allow me to contour a fit.

I thought the same thing. I need my grab handle, and don't want to block the view of instruments in the dash with a steering column mount. I'll have four gauges and would like to mount them right in front of me on top of the dash.

Anybody know if the dash mount pod is a two piece? I don't mind shaving a bit off the bottom, but there has to be suitable pod for this application.

I received a two piece gauge pod fron Geno's and there is just a little work to do. It depends on exactly where you want to mount it. I have the molded dash mat from Geno's and the gauge pod on that because the sticky tape gets too hot and comes off the dash. Velcro the pod onto the dash mat. I also let the pod "slide down" to the crack/line on the upper dash (hard to explain and no pix) but it seems to work well. Hope this helps.
