2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Dash Noise Issues

I have a 01... it just started making a churping noise, under the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Can't figure out what is causing this after trying

to see if anything is loose under there. everything seems tight.



anybody else?

Yep, it is the knee panel. There are screws holding it on at the bottom, but the spring fasteners at the top are what is making the chirps.



Remove the screws and pull the panel free. Spray the spring fasteners with silicone and they will be quiet for about a year. This noise is usally louder below 70 degrees.
