dash pad removal 2005 quad cab

Can anyone tell me how to remove dash pad from 2005 ram quad cab? I am trying to mount my gauges and cant get the darn thing off.

If you carefully insert a pry bar or screw driver in the seam in the middle of the dash and pry up, it will pop up and work it all the way across, then pull towards you to get the front out.

it seems as 1 piece all the way across to passenger door, including passenger air bag

It is 2 pieces front to rear. The front section will pop out as described above.
