I haven't used one, but you do know that MSD bought Edge?

Looks like a modified Attitude moniter to me...

Would be neat if it worked great.

If it works the price seems to be inline with the other readouts of this type. I would be a little concerned about it's application as I found this on their website for compatibility "2007 Chrysler Dodge 3500 Pickup 8 6. 0 A Diesel"... translated to 8 cylinder 6. 0 liter engine w/ automatic transmission, anybody got that engine :confused:

Heres a picture of the dashhawk

Ya it does look like the edge which im not to fond of but ya it would be awsome for the boys that have programmers that do not offer monitors but want to stick with what they have!!

I gave MSD a call today and asked them a few question but didnt find much out because the guy that is working on improving it wasnt there today! But im suspose to have a chat with him tomarrow about what it can do for us diesel guys!!!

So, ill fill you in tomarrow on what they say from MSD!

I know there are a lot of sites for Cummins conversions, but I haven't found one for yet for Powerstroke conversions. Why is that??:confused: :-laf

If I read the data sheet correctly it only has one sensor port besides the OBDII. So you might need additional gauges. My thoughts are (after reading a bunch of threads here and looking at release notes on sites that support these types of combo gauges) is that mechanical is the way to go if you want to be as careful as possible monitoring critical aspects of the engine like EGT, Trans Temp, etc.

I made that same comment to my Dad the other day, I see lots of Cummins going Fords and Chevys, but why don't we see any Powerjokes getting swapped into anything? At least there are a few Duramax swaps that have been done... Must mean something:-laf

This just came up in the 6. 7 forum (re: EGT monitoring) and I said something like "I'm sure that the aftermarket will have something to grab info from the OBD port soon". Guess I wasn't paying attention! The 6. 7 has lots of sensors (more than one EGT I think, some type of backpressure measurement across the exhaust systems, who knows what else . . . ) to get at with something like this given the right software.

Sorry Guys!

Sorry Guys but i had to much going on at work today and didnt get a chance to call MSD about the dashhawk ill try tomarrow. :{
