Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Data link connection edge comp

Trying to locate and connect edge comp data link connection on my 01dodge ram cummins. I have located map sensor connection but not data link . Thanks to all . Pics might help. It's not near fuel lift pump, because pump has been upgraded to in tanks ups.

I don't have photos, so I'll try to explain. Look forward from the MAP sensor and lower. It is a short pigtail coming off of a wire harness. My 2002 is flat and has a rubber plug with some wires snipped off of the end. I believe yours is round or oval. It actually looks like a wiring connector with the wires snipped off of the female end. The stubby pigtail on mine is right above the motor mount on the wiring harness from the ECM.
