Archived Daughter's truck dead and she is away from home

My daughter is on the way to the Kinyon road fire in Idaho from Enumclaw, Washington and has been having overheating issues since just about Pendleton, Or. She is now just out side of Mountain Home, Idaho and the truck has stopped and she will have to leave it to continue to the fire where she will be an EMT.



I need to know of any support that I may have/get in the area if I have to drive the 14. 5 hours and 760 miles to fix her truck. It is a 2001 Dodge Dakota with the 4. 7 litre, auto, 4x4.



She has been told that it has a blown head gasket.

Go to top of page and pull down the menu under "Site Features", down load the "Travel Companion". I think Idaho is about page ten, there are eight people listed from Idaho. Might call some of them. bg

Have you posted over at nwbombers.com? Would likely get a good response. How much would it cost to have the truck shipped to Enumclaw? Could be cheaper than spending the fuel to retrieve the truck.

Thank you gentlemen, This is rather tough being so far away and on the end of a cell phone conversation with very bad reception. I have printed the Travel Companion Idaho page and will be doing some calling in the morning. I will also look into the nwbombers.com site for the possibility of having the truck shipped home. .
