No It is a 12 hp Kohler. It is cranked up a little though... . bored . 030, head decked . 010, aftermarket piston, rod, 18 hp cam, bigger than stock carbs, pretty impressive little toys.

lol awesome. great to see this resurected. Dave doesnt return my calls either mike, id send him a check out if he would. the cub is a 1250, stock class tractor. pulls good, got 2nd in the points race locally this year.

I was pretty sure it was, cant miss those. My parents had one years ago, and sold it to some guy that was going to build it into a puller. They replaced the 1250 with a 1450. Going to restore the 1450 myself and use it to mow. Those are very good tractors, very solid construction, main reason they end up like pictured above!

I saw a Cub Cadet 782 diesel pull last summer and I don't know what all they had done to it but it would flat out run.
