I don't understand the purpose of this mod. My DRL's already turn off with slight pressure on the e-brake. It worked on my 96 and works on my 02. Comes like that from the factory.

US truck's do NOT have factory DRL. Canadian truck are required by Canadian LAW to have DRL. You cannot add DRL module to US truck's. Wiring loom for module is NOT installed in US truck's. Hence this non-factory modification.

Yes, I knew all that. So this mod switches off the regular headlights with the e-brake?

Where did you get this idea?

The wiring for the fog light relay is the only change that is being made.
