That's pretty much all there is to check, assuming the lights work otherwise. When the DRL went out on my 96, I replaced the module and all was well again. The modules are filled with a potting compound and cannot be repaired.
I also noticed that I had a brake light out on the drivers rear. When to the auto parts store and got a new bulb. Replaced the rear bulb and the brake lights work fine again. -- So do my daytime running lights.
Hmmm..... you must have one of those self repairing modules. Just for laughs, what if you took the bulb out again and rechecked the DRLs? I doubt they're related.
I dont think they are related either. But it was one heck of a coincidence. I just had to post. I am not brave enough to go back and check it again with the bulb out. Some things I just was not meant to know.
