I have a situation that was brought to my attention today, I don't think its actually a problem but wanted to see if anyone here had an opinion.

When the truck is in Drive, and only the DRL's are active, the following occurs: if I turn on either turn signal the DRL on that side shuts off. When the signal is shut off, the DRL comes back on. If I turn on the lights with the knob, this does not happen, it is only with the DRL's.

Should I be worried or is this the way its supposed to happen? Just thought I'd ask.

I have seen the Dodge Magnum/Chargers do the same thing. They are supposed to do it so the DRL doesn't wash out the turn signal during daylight. At night the amber turn signals are easier to see with the lights on.
