Hi Folks,
I have a couple of questions about the Lubrication Engineers product "DCI+".
1. Does anyone know the distributor that would be closest to RI? I know that anywhere in the country is OK, am thinking of saving on shipping costs.
2. Fuel/water separation. This product supposedly separates the two in the fuel tank. If so, any water would never make it to the fuel/water separator so it could be drained off. If any water is constantly separated and held in tank, what will eventually happen to tank? Couldn't this eventually lead to a situation where you have a (let's say) tank that is 50% water and 50% fuel?
3. If that happens, wouldn't you eventually be drawing nothing but water and gradually lose the useful capacity of the fuel tank?
I apologize in advance if any of these questions sound dumb, but I really don't know and would like more info before trying the product.
