Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) DD 3600 break in

next weekend getting a DD 3600 south bend installed. I know what they recommend on break in any other do's or dont's out there I should obey for break in. like turn smarty off:-laf. any tips would be great

Peter told me to do a few third gear launches. Also if you don't have the power turned up you will stall.

Now I do Third Gear, four wheel drive launches at the track, :-laf

my wife has done a good job with that in the past just driving to the mall. :-laf. wife and 6 speed = no no.

I try to keep my truck abuse limited to the sledpulling track. I have another machine to destroy in the sand. One much cheaper to repair!
