I got the DD II injectors i bought off Jetpilot today via FedEx I already have them installed, it wasn't all that bad of a project. I am loving the extra power, I have noticed they make the pyro skyrocket compared to the old stock injectors i had. Is there a way to rig the turbo to go to 30 - 35 psi as mine is only going to 20-21 right now. I think that may help it out some. Houston we have smoke, at low boost especially in 2nd gear it will boil black, i love it, i'd hate to be a tailgater now, been havin some troubles with people riding right up on me lately around college, now it's payback time. Overall i love the injectors, best thing i have done to the truck so far.

Add a used Edge EZ from our ads w/supplied elbow and feel a major increase in driveability, power, and moderately improved fuel economy. Lower smoke due to more boost. Works great w/my setup. With elbow you will see a drop in E. G. T. 's

I can keep my EGT's in check with the DDII's at WOT with 30lbs. As soon as I flick the switch for more fueling there is no way to cantrol them with a stock turbo!! I'd reccomend getting a fueling box just to take care of the boost fooling. Pick your own favourite, the EZ seems to be the most popular one here on TDR, I am happy with my Banks but others aren't.

You definately need at least a boost fooler. Good advice on adding the EZ. This was the best thing for my EGTs, even with the wastegate in the factory setting.

IMO I would go to an adjustable box. The Comp style boxes are popular and you can turn it completely off if needed. So, without the wire tap, you have your EZ. Boost fooler works all the time.

If you are even remotely thinking about more power down the road, get the comp. Or an adjustble box. They carry more resale value and are easy to unload.
