04 durango AC problems

I had an '86 Camry that I used as a daily driver for over 3yrs and was able to keep mileage off of my '03 Ram. I was getting 26mpg and felt very liberated and care free because I didn't care about the car the same way I care about the truck (I could park it anywhere) My wife talked me into selling it (I regretted it later... )

My dad just bought a brand new car and gave me his '92 Corolla with 71k miles. Was garaged its whole life and looks and smells brand new. Thanks Dad !!

I'm using it as my DD and am getting 29 to 31 mpg in combined driving (mostly sitting in traffic... ) Its not the most comfortable car and you really need thick skin and be fine with your manhood to drive this car... but everything works including the AC.

Getting to the point. Auto trans/diff fluid needed changing. There is a drain plug (Wow !!). I bought 4qts of Dexron III and had it changed in less than 1hr including the test drive. It took exactly 4qts, no mess, no trouble, super easy... Magnetic drain plug had minimal dust on it.

All manufacturers need to put drain plugs on trannies, diffs, etc.

I will say that Toyota is not perfect. They can't make a fuel filter servicable to save their life. They always seem to bury it on the firewall under the intake manifold and it uses banjo fittings that require two wrenches.

Thanks for listening...
