Hello, trying to find a TDR member that has a set up similar to mine. I really like the performance and drivability as it now stands but am interested in the DD Tru Torque Module along with what I already have. I use my vehicle for daily transportation and pulling our modest (6000 lbs loaded) travel traler. Would drivability and EGT's be an issue with this setup and does anyone have a close guestimate as to the end result for hp. and torque figures?

tks, Bryan

diesel on... .

EGT's should be OK given that you have the exhaust and mod air box. If you don't have gauges, get those, but otherwise you should be OK. I'd guess 330hp/650ft-lbs at the peaks.

Well I went with the box first and will put RV275s in next. I'm still running the stock airbox but replaced the muffler with a flow through unit. With the current setup, there are absolutely no issues with EGT. I'm going relatively mild because I want to keep my stock clutch, exhaust and turbo. According to many on here, the TTPM is the best box to put on if you have bigger injectors.

Well rfcom, it will be interesting to compare notes. After sitting on the fence for years, (even with Nowel Thomas waving these toys in front of me to try for free), I finally added the RV275's. These have been the best thing that I have done since the Jacob's E-brake. Having the same objectives as you, I finally gave Keith a call for a TTPM (still patiently waiting).

I will tell you that DD2's and an Edge EZ or DD TTPM is one of the best towing setups around. I know several guys that have that same set up and LOVE it. They all tow big loads on a regular basis and have no problems.
