I just got a few days under my belt with the DDTT module towing 6000lb to Rockingham for the weekend drag race. WOW, what a difference!. Waaay more useable power under 2100 rpm versus stock and more mpg too. Used to be about 12. 5 mpg with the same load before and now it is 14. 5 mpg. Next on the list are gauges and 4" exhaust and stage 2 injectors. Then I can sweep the parking lot at work with one of my co-workers Power Joke that has a mild chip. LOL!

Sounds like you have that needle in your arm. :p Do you think you can stop your BOMBing with just the DD box?

BTW, what setting did you have the DD on?

I tried the most responsive setting 3 at first for about half of the day while getting a feel for it and keeping an eye on the tailpipe to study low boost smoke. It was a little too much smoke for my liking so I changed the jumper to the 2 posistion and noticed only a slight change slower in resposiveness and about all the low boost smoke was gone. From what I understand, the 3 setting starts fueling at 3psi and the 2 setting starts at 20psi. It really doesn't seem like too much time difference at all as far as the responsiveness is concerned between the 2 and 3 setting, but it doesn't take much time at all for the turbo to get over 20psi if you drive at the right rpm when you nail it. I am sure the 2 setting is very helpful with stage 1 of 2 injectors for keeping smoke at a mimimun.

GDouglas,

I've got my PE EZ and I run it on the middle setting too. The third setting (default) produced too much smoke at low boost.

There are three settings altogether on jumper settings. The one settig not mentioned already in this thread is the "leanest" setting - a quick two minute job under the hood, when getting ready to llimbo under the smoke limit for them emissions tests..... and once you got the ticket, you can play musical chairs once more..... ;)
