Ok, starting to look at injectors, and was pretty much planning on going with the DD3's, but am now also looking at the Bully Dog Stage 3's.

Reliability?... warranty and service if any problems? Is there any reason one is better than the other?

Thanks for any help. Josh

Funny thing

I also am starting to look at DD2 or BD2's for my truck. Got the OK yesterday from the war dept. I can't wait for the power. I'm sorry I don't have any advice I'm looking for some just like you are. Oo. Oo. Oo.

About all you are going to get is testimonials from guys that have owned one brand or the other. Not many people have run both brands in the same stage, so the info just is not available.

I have had 2 sets of DD injectors, they both are great. DD has a great reputation for service too. If I want to swap injectors again it will be DD that goes in, I know they are very good and I know the company is very good. Why mess with a good thing when prices are similar?

I am sure there are plenty that can echo what I said referring to Bully too. I have not seen any troubles with the Bullies.

Never used BD's, so have no opinion about them. I have used DD's and have been happy with them. I would buy DD's for myself again just because I've had good luck in the past with them.

I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you decide on.

Good luck,

Mike

I ran BD 3's for about 6 months then swapped them out for BD 5's. Zero complaints from me. The 5's have been in for about 1. 5 years now and they really romp. With the 3's and a Edge EZ box/HX40 and SAS I made 366 RWHP. I never dynoed again since I put in the 5's, but I can tell ya, they are more than enough with the EZ box as a daily driver.

BD's make a little more power but alot more heat. DD has the best power to heat ratio. If ya want to make power and less heat and smoke, go with the lasar cut injectors. In do time extrude honed will be a thing in the past.

We sell BD, and have never heard a complaint, but I can tell you the same thing about DD injectors even though we do not sell them, you'll never hear a complaint. BD does have excellent customer service, and I can tell you that DD does to, look at all the positive posts about them.

Basicly it comes down to who do you want to give your business to? :)

I am going to buy some EDM injectors when they become readily availiable. Not sure who offers them at this time other than Piers who has a set in the works. Any others.

Good choice Chipstein. If Piers sells it, you know it's good. We have a Midwest source of our own for both EDM and extrude-honed extreme injectors for 24 valve engines. A bit much for the street, but they can be built to any level anyone prefers.

I also prefer Diesel Dynamics injectors, a personal preference, as I trust their research. I've got over 80,000 miles on my DD3's and they're still performing great.

DD3's:confused: What's a-matter Tom you didn't like those your swapped in for Dyno Day? ;) :-laf

Just kidding, I wish I would have known your were going to dyno again after installing those I would have stuck around. Oh well if I have my way you'll see me in July for STACKS!Oo.

Well, Mark, those "showerheads" loaned to me for the dyno run(and a week around town) were so extreme that when I turned off the TST Powermax3, my power didn't drop ! The holes in the tips were visible without a magnifying glass ! Unknown risk factor, so they came back out. They'd be great for sled pulling(and stacks :D )

Thanks for the kind words Brair. When are ya gonna have another get together?

On my truck alone I have 35k on the same size injectors that you ran on the dyno. These are my daily drivers. I average 18. 5 MPG with them.
