I know, I know, this horse is mince meat from being beat. But refresh me again, please. Because bad 'ole JyRO is thinking of stepping up. That's right, JyRO does have the bombing bug, I guess I'm just constipated when it comes to parting with money. But heck, my truck's been paid off since April 5th.

I'm still on the stock clutch, and prefer to remain that way. I hear that the pre-H. O. clutches (with 6 speed) are/were better than the H. O. clutches. I've got 275's and an EZ and its given absolutely no problems. Granted I don't run my truck hard. And when towing I try to be as smooth on and off the power, in and out of gears as I can. Mainly I only see the benefit of the EZ and 275's when I'm towing on the interstate in 6th gear. I don't abuse the torque when rowing through the gears, I try to conserve clutch.

So... DD1's will give me a gain over 275's right? And of course DD2's will give me a gain over DD1's. But I forget where the limit is for the stock clutch. Can it handle DD2's? Or should I just settle for DD1's?

Lastly, and I may have to start a new topic for this, does anyone have any DD2's (or DD1's) laying around that they'd like to get rid of for a reasonable amount of money? Maybe you've moved on to supermentals? Thanks for the help on the DD1 and DD2 info guys! :)

I have some used DD1's laying around,,I went to some injectors a tad bigger (DD Drug Pushers) :D

I've been having a hard time letting these go, and i don't know a fair price on them. They have 5K on them and have seen 1800* EGT Once. I ran some Power Service while they were in the truck.

PM me if you are interested.
