DD2's and Valve body upgrade?

I know this has been asked before... . but here goes.



I currently run an Edge EZ and boost elbow with my stock auto transmission in my 99 2500.

It handles the power well.

I am wondering if I add DD2 injectors (possibly dd3's if I can get away with it) and a upgraded valve body will my transmission hold this power?

Also is the valve body change something I can do at home?

Any info on this is greatly appreciated!!

The simple answer is NO...........

I had the EZ and everything was fine. After the DD2's all bets were off. I would go for the complete transmission upgrade. TC, VB & Clutch packs. You'll never regret it. It was one of the best things I have done to my truck. It's so nice when you can actually put the power to the ground.

Big is right, sooner or later you will smoke it, most likely sooner and then it will cost more $$$.

if you can read and are mechanically disabled(don't like others working on your rig and hate to pay) like most of us you can do the Valve body by yourself---take you about 3 hours for the first one---but I do agree with the others to go for the other upgrades as well--the T/C you can do as well, but it's a harder and you may want to get some help---chris
