Thanks, TDR Staff

Please say a prayer for HVAC...

Can you make 2nd gen injectors fit?

DDIII's are extrude honed while POD's are just manufactured with large fuel ports. I believe the POD's have 4 and the DDIII's have 5 holes.

Guys I know that are running the DDIII's claim they smoke much less (I have seen 2 and they do smoke less than POD's) but they are still both making 330+ RWHP (one with auto, the other with stick).

POD's can pretty much be gotten when you want them ... DDIII's, well, they will make them for ya and it is gonna cost ya.

I know what I would get if I hade that kinda cash jsut burning a hole in my pocket :D

The POD's are a slight "straying" from the exact configuration/angle/design that our trucks want, but filled a hole that no one really had an answer for, and at a modest cost...

There are things in the works by more than one or two folks out there and it can only be good for us 1st Gen guys... .

It seems that once we started to show our "potential" things started to happen... . bonus !!!!!!

I am one of those guys running DD3+'s and I do love them. They combined with all my other goodies - more to come - got me where I am today. Combined with Old Smokys eccentric and I've got "cool" powerOo. Oo. They run very cool even when towing.

Before we get into power vs EGT's here is one of the reasons I think my truck runs fairly cool when towing. If your truck can produce 250 RWHP and you need say 200 RWHP to keep a load moving you are using 80% of your available power - your engine is working harder and you are going to run hotter. On the other hand if you need the same 200 RWHP and you have 350 available you are only using 57% of your available RWHP your engine is not working as hard to keep the load moving. Correct me if I am wrong on this.

Since I plan on traveling when I retire that is what my truck is being built for - not just raw RWHP. The POD's are much cheaper and are very strong - Mike (Old Smoky) made close to 450 RWHP with a set of honed POD's - that's strong.

So what are you planning to do with your truck? Decide this then go for the Gold. Oo. Oo.

Pull sleds, whoop on 2nd gens... of course!!!! :D

I'm going to prove that first gens are REAL trucks, and not grociery getters like the new ones. I want to prove that these things can make a lot of HP and still run daily.
