I recently have about 3k miles on my new DD3600 love it. but stupid question I have noticed that 2nd gear is harder to get engaged. alot of times I have to shift to 1st or 3rd at a light to get it into 2nd. never had this problem with my old FE clutch. just wondering if its the nature of the double disk. also I have changed the transmission fluid 4months prior to this.

All gears will be tougher. If second is worse than first your dealing with a trans issue, not a clutch issue.

okay thanks either I just started to notice it or it is in all gears. need to start using 1st gear and seeing if it is the same. well lets hope its not the transmission. $$$ I dont know anyone my local area I would trust with the 6-speed dont know if Rip touches manuals or not. thanks for the help

well after driving more I think its just the nature of it like said. I have learned to shift and drive alittle different seems the truck wants alittle rpm and it does ingage smoother now. thanks for the replies. and lets hope it doesnt come to the transmission down the road.
