Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) DDII's to jammer 3 injectors, what to expect

I've got a set of Jammer 3 injectors to install replacing my DDII's I've been running for 3 years now. I don't have EGT problems towing wiht the DDII's and SMARTY on SW3. Will the jammers throw the temps up much higher? How about smoke, I've already got a fair amount of smoke with the smarty. Anyone ever done this swap.

you shouldn`t lose more than 10-20 hp..... as far as smoke?????all kidding aside i say you should gain 20hp with the same smoke

I bought them from a TDR member 3 years ago and I was told they were 1 year old when I bought them. I've put about 60K miles on them.

I got the Jammer 3's installed and there is a noticeable increase in power. EGT's are higher, I don't know how much yet and boost goes higher for the same WOT. There is a bit more smoke but the smoke is cleaner?? maybe less black??



I'll be towing this weekend so that will tell the hole story.

I wanted to reply to this thread before but I went from the DD II's to Jammer 5's so I didn't think I would be that relavent. :-laf
