Does anyone have any experience with DDP's DV's? How do they compare to a standard set of 181 or 191 dv's? I'm getting ready to order a set of their stage II or "75 hp" injectors (witch might be more than my stock turbo will take) but what the heck if they are realy worth the money.
 
Haven't tried them but what they told me is that they use their own custom design, they were trying not to compare them with 191s to me over the phone, just telling me they are better. Would be interesting to hear from someone who's tried them.
 
I'd just get a set of 181DVs. Even Joe Donnelly told me he made ZERO more hp w/191s, than w/stock 181s. You'll probably feel a difference with either, since you have smaller DVs.

All I got going from 181 to 191, was more smoke, higher EGTs and slightly better spool up.
 
I just installed some custom cut DV's, they are a little bigger then a Half-Cut (. 022) I have a little more smoke, but the turbo lights quicker and it definately pulls a lot harder on the top end. My experience is if you have the air for more fuel then throw it at it. :-laf
 
I figured the DDP dv's would be more fuel than I wanted since my truck is a daily driver and I need to keep my fuel mileage in mind when making these mods. I was just trying to see if anyone had tried a set to see if they really were "just better".

Where would be a good place to order a set of 181's should I choose to go that far:D .
 
DDP makes high quality stuff. I'd look at their DV's.

My truck is a daily driver. I have 191's & DDP 4 (140 HP over stock) and my truck burns clean.

probably next monday,me and my friend will install DDP3´s and bosch 191 DV´s to my truck :) is anyone running that compo with hx35 turbo+boost elbow?I wonder how high my egt readings will be?max boost now is about 33psi.
 
well DDP´3 and 191DV´s are in!!no egt problems. about 600-700F/75mph driving empty. but it gets fast to red zone in WOT but not too bad,about 1400-1500F,works just fine in normal driving. but there will be a bigger turbo later. awesome injectors!!feels like totally different truck. min. smoke when you hit the floor,even with stock turbo+boost elbow,smooth idle but we did have pump it up a little. i´m very satisfied!
