DDs Stage 1 Pro Kit

I dropped by Diesel Dynamics and had them install there Sage 1 Pro Kit. God what a difference! HP went from 242 ( he said this was one of the strongest 2001 stockers they had ever had on the dyno ) to336, torque went from498 to 742. Ifigured that was about all my stock clutch could take pulling a 8800 TT, and I was right. If I hammer it to quick in 5th it will start to slip a little.

I pass cars pulling as fast as when I was stock and no trailer! There's a little smoke if you get on it before boost comes up but I'm learning to have fun with that. You can really haze the jerk that just cut you off. Just floor it in 4th, 20 mph, no boost and watch em vanish!



PS never take a heavy trailer through Death Valley, west to east with out a exhaust brake, take my word for it!

I to was looking at the stage 1 pro kit for my new 02 ETH. Did they put dd1s,ttpm and boost module on yours? How much was the damage? If you had to do it over again would you? What about the dyno test was there a charge for that? Thanks... .

Just the truckabout 650 pre turbo. The hightest I saw was 1175

up a 8% grade for 3 miles in 6th.

They put in there custom box, injectors, and the boost elbow and the dyno runs, around $1200 with tax ect.

And yes it made a great truck even better. We averaged 12 3/4 miles per gallon pulling the 8800 lb. trailer on a 3750 mi. trip, around 65 mph on cruise.
