ok now that i know that i am going with the OFE clutch i need to know what you all think on he box. i have gone just about everything there is to do to keep the truck cool as far as air restriction. i am Currently running DD2. i have heard the the ETH do not do as well with the fueling boxes and i did not know if is worth the $77 to upgrade to the DDUF. another thing is if you run the box off on the DDUF does the boost fooling capabilities still work. thanks for the input.

If your concern is the box not putting out as much power on a ETH, than the $77. 00 difference would be well worth the upgrade to the DDUFM over the TTPM. If you want you can always run the DDUFM without the pump wire hooked up and then if you want more power you can hook up the pump wire, easier to do this than buy the TTPM and find out it is not enough power for you and then have to try and sell it to buy the DDUFM.

Yes the boost module works in both of them even if the power is off on the DDUFM or you unplug the data port connector on the TTPM.

Check here ( www.piersdiesel.com ) for maybe better prices and service and get the original box, not a knock off from some other company.

After reading your signature I see you have a banks power pack, it would be wise to make sure you can stack the UFM on the power pack.

Check here ( www.edgeproductsinc.com ) they would know, They are the originators of the boxes you want.

i have already tapped the wire once so i am not concerned about that it just that i have heard ETH dont do as well with fueling boxes so i think a timing one and then injector changes would be the way to go. another thing is that i am not running a bigger turbo so the power one the box would be limited. let me know what you think

thank

About 30 HP is the difference between the two on the ETH, would you pay $77 for 30 HP? If the answer is yes then go for it.

Unless your going to go crazy with bigger injectors and a UFM or comp box you should be o. k. with the stock turbo, spool up will not be as quick and EGT's might get a little high but you should be able to control it. If your going mega injectors and a fueling box on top of the banks then I would concider a different turbo.

Remember this is just my opinion and I am not a expert. If I was you I would call Ted Jannetty Racing and see if he can give you a little better advice, or maybe HAVAC ( Nowell ) will see this thread and chime in. I would trust his advice on air flow.
