Urgent Request for Assistance Transmission Failure

my truck is a well worn work vehicle while driving today all of the gauges came on and the warning chime came on the truck lost power then the gauges went off and back to normal power this happened twice then the third time it shut down with no restart it's currently being towed anybody got an idea of what is going on here? Thanks from Virginia

to make things clearer I was on my way to get a state inspection the shop scanned it and it showed failure to communicate between the ecm and whatever it communicates with sorry all that stuff is above my pay scale but it was an old code no new ones showed up on their scan all of this occurred within an hour

Yes, sounds like a battery Problem.
Dash all lighting up is the start up routine when it powers up.
Have them check all battery connections thoroughly, especially the ground wires and the crossover cable before doing any other troubleshooting.

Makes sense kind of occurred to me keep those ideas coming this is the first time I've posted in about ten years so I appreciate y'all's help
