2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Dead batterys

My friend had a all stock 99 2500 2wd auto. the batteries are going dead over night and they are new. does anyone know of something on a stock truck that might be causing the kind of load on them?

glove box light. Open the glove box and see if the bulb is hot right when you open it. If it is then the light was on when it was closed. I took the bulb out of mine and it solved the problem. I haven't taken the time to figure out the fix yet.

The seat belt controller is a common failure. You have to pull fuses and check the load.
