Archived dead dash

The dash gauges are dead on my '00 CTD. Truck starts, runs & drives fine. Mileage shows when started than begins to flash and finally reads " no bus ". When the no bus is showing the engine & abs lights are on. Plugged in scantool and gave two engine codes that seem to be working fine. The engine light had not been on previously.



Any help would be appreciated.

If your scanner is a snap on like mine you have to select other systems and BODY or Powertrain to check the ecm of the dash. Not sure weather they have a computor in the dash of a 2000, but I belive they do. I have had to have a dash redone in a customers 03 2500 that was toasted. PM me if you have a snap on and can't figure out what menu's to use, I can hook it to my 01 and tell you what the exact order is to get there. Good luck. Jake

I'm having the same problem with my 01, except the overhead comuter ccd (chrysler collision detected). I will be listening. .

Check out connector C130 ( in the Power Distribution Center) I fixed mine yesterday.
