Lift pump is gone. I cycle the key and do not get any code on the dash. Truck drives normal. Starts perfectly.

What are the chances I have damaged the VP44 due to fuel starvation/cavitation? No blue smoke (only black).

I have a dealer appointment this week, but wonder how hard they will look at BOMB mods.

Advice?

You didn't have a fuel pressure gauge with the mods you have? You still have warrenty left on a 99? I to had a dead lift pump with no idea how long and my VP is still going strong at 106k. My truck drove fine with no fuel pressure I would have never known about fuel pressure till I found out here. Good Luck
