Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Dead Pedal, Code P 0121 ?

Okay, got the dead pedal but have good fuel pressure and codes were P 1693 (companion code) and P 0121 which is as follows



P0121 (M) TPS Voltage Does Not Agree With

MAP

TPS signal does not correlate to MAP sensor signal.



P0121 (M) Accelerator Position Sensor (APPS)

Signal Voltage Too Low

APPS voltage input below the minimum acceptable

voltage.



Which one is it? seems by reading it, it should be the APPS since it sends the signal to the MAP, and the map seems to not be receiving what it wants to receive, is my logic accurate ? or

Call RIP and see if he has an APPS in his shop that you can try before spending the bucks for this high dollar item. SNOKING

mine had that code for 2 months..... then the 0216 code came. replaced injection pump and no codes. been two months now and no problems. hope thats not it but i thought i would bring it up
